Garness at Skjærgårdssang in Langesund – Saturday, August 9!
On Saturday, August 9, 2025, we have the pleasure of experiencing the amazing duo Garness – twin sisters Ingelin Reigstad Norheim and Hildegunn Garnes Reigstad – at Skjærgårdssang in Langesund! Their music features a melodic, rhythmic indie/folk-pop style, and with lyrics sung in their local Strile dialect, they offer the audience a unique and inspiring experience.

Ingelin is a skilled guitarist, playing both acoustic and electric guitar, while Hildegunn performs on her specially built standing drum kit, along with keyboards and a variety of stringed and percussion instruments. This distinctive setup adds an extra dimension to their sound and brings a special energy to their live performances.

Garness’s songs carry messages of faith, hope, love, and thoughtful reflection on the big and small challenges of life.

After more than 20 years on stage together, Garness has developed an impressive musical synergy. Their warm and personal stage presence has made them a sought-after live band. They’ve performed on TV shows like God morgen Norge, Beat for Beat, Kjempesjansen, and Håp i ei gryte, and have touched many hearts through their Christmas concert Kvelden før kvelden on NRK1. For many years, they have also toured with the traditional Easter concert production Gåten om korset (“The Mystery of the Cross”) and been part of the music collective Lia Musikklag.
